Open Fung tracks the number of visitors to our site in order to update and improve our service. We do not host ads or commercial content on our website.

When We Collect Data and How it is Used

When you join our mailing list:
When you sign up to receive our newsletter via our website we capture your communication data (name and e­mail address) in order to send the requested newsletter. Personal data that you provide to us will only be processed for correspondence with you or only for the purpose for which you have made the data available to us. Your personal data is encrypted when transmitted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. Furthermore, we protect our website and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification, or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. All data you give us is stored on secure servers.

When you attend an event or respond to surveys & promotions:
You may also provide us with data when you attend an event or participate in a promotion or survey. The data you give us may include your name, address, e­mail address, and phone number. The data you have provided will be used solely for the expressed intention with which it was collected.

Sharing of Information
We do not sell, share, rent, or intentionally make publicly available users’ personal information, including e­mail addresses, except as provided herein. This information is used by Open Fung only for internal purposes. We have the following exceptions to these policies: We will release specific information about you or your account only to comply with the law. We will also release specific information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of the sites, or a physical threat to you or others.

Access to Your Information and Opting Out
You can revoke your consent to receive communication from us and unsubscribe from our e­mail newsletter at any time. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the link provided in every e­mail, and to be removed from our e­mail or print mailing lists you can also contact us by email. 

Once removed from our system you will not be re­added unless you express consent by re­entering data into one of the channels described above, thus re­opting into our correspondence. Under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) if you wish to see the personal data we have collected, or if you believe your data is incorrect, please use the information below to submit requests.
